The holidays can be a challenge for weight loss. Studies show that the average person gains 1-2 pounds during the period between Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day and that 10% of the population actually gains 5 pounds or more. Data also shows that those who are already overweight tend to gain closer to the 5 pound mark.
