The holidays can be a challenge for weight loss.  Studies show that the average person gains 1-2 pounds during the period between Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day and that 10% of the population actually gains 5 pounds or more.  Data also shows that those who are already overweight tend to gain closer to the 5 pound mark. Needless to say, such a weight gain in such a short time is not only unhealthy, but these small increases tend to accumulate into weight that we don’t later burn off.

Ask just about anyone and they’ll tell you they absolutely don’t want to gain weight over the holidays, while also professing that the holidays are not the time to follow a weight loss plan.  But if you think about it, most of us will gain weight if we’re not following a plan of action and preparedness.  Which leads us to ask…which option would you prefer this holiday season?

How can you make sure that you don’t gain during the holidays?

You need:

* a plan

*self-monitoring

*accountability

*support

to help you through this holiday season.

Physicians WEIGHT LOSS Centers can help you with all your needs (mentioned above) during the holiday season. Think about how rewarding it would be to step into 2014 feeling healthier and fitter rather than miserable from the post-holiday weight gain.  If that’s what you desire, then we are here to show you exactly how you can accomplish it!
