Stevia contains zero calories and it’s sweet, so we can see why it’s easy to categorize it as a fake sugar. On the other hand, natural sugars found in fruits, raw sugar, real maple syrup are a much different story! These are real, unprocessed foods that your body will have a much easier time breaking down.
Stevia is also natural, but it’s not classified as a sugar. It comes from a plant native to South America and it’s about 300 times sweeter than sugar. Why is this so great?
